The power output of a PV power plant is determined not only by the specifications of the initial equipment, but also influenced by the external factors and operating condition over a period of more than 20 years. Unlikely to the conventional method, where the power output of the PV power plant is simply predicted using the amount of solar irradiance and the capacity of the power plant, there are other external factors influencing the output of the PV power plant. The factors include PV module temperature, radiated heat transfer from insolation, heat transfer capacity or thermal conductivity of the PV module and convective heat transfer to the surroundings. A set of large and complex database (BIG DATA) can be made from data acquisition (DAQ) of the external factors, which is done using the various sensors. Advanced O&M technique for PV plants is, therefore, determined based on the BIG DATA collected in the near future
