This study presents the reciprocating air pump utilizing electromagnetic actuation for polymer electrolyte
membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). It comprises four major components, NdFeB permanent magnet, copper coil,
magnetic core and flexible membrane. We model and measure its performance in terms of maximum flow rate.
It also is evaluated by changing parameters, for example, waveform, coil turning number and diameter.
