    In this paper, Elevated level of advanced glycated end products in high-density lipoproteins with fragmentation of apoA-I in the elderly group is compared with those of young group in microfluid based Lab-on-a chip. More dysfunctional HDL was found in elderly group and reconstituted HDL containing glycated apoA-I (gA-I-rHDL) with elevation of advanced glycated end products (AGE). HDLJ from elderly group (E-HDLJ ) showed more multimerization with more smear band intensity than that ofHDLJ from young group (Y-HDLJ ) on SDS-PAGE. From isoelectric focusing gel analysis, gA-I-rHDL and E-HDLJ exhibited electromobility to the basic region of pH with broader band range. In microfluidic channel, E-HDLJ showed faster mobility with broader range with higher isoelectric point (PI) around 8.1, while Y-HDLJ showed narrow band range with lower pI around 6.9. In conclusion, gA-I-rHDL and E-HDL share several electrophoretic properties with multimerization and faster mobility in microfluidic channel, which was depends on isoelectric point. These results can be applied to develop rapid detection system for modified HDL to prognostic diagnosis for extent of senescence and metabolic disease, such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
