|초록||Enhancement of the mixing rate was needed to realize the lean burn engine. At the previous study, It was found that lean burn limit was expanded by means of the direct injection method. But, combustion was somewhat unstable at the lean burn limit. Therefore in order to establish the stabilization of combustion in lean region, variation of the rate of auxiliary port injection were evaluated.
Its result shows that lean burn limit is expended at λ = 1.53 with the rate of auxiliary port injection at 10%, because of enhancement of the combustion characteristics by means of mixing rate improvement.
