|초록||In order to enhance scavenging performance and to control backfire occurrence of free piston hydrogen
fueled engine, reverse uniflow scavenging, which can be controled a backfire by detracting slow burning in crevice
volume into exhaust port, is analyzed by PIV method. Research visualization apparatus with reverse uniflow scavenging
was developed to investigate scavenging flow pattern in cylinder.
The experimental results show that in the case ofabnonnal expansion ofpiston and for delay ofthe intake valve open
timing by generation of center vortex scavenging performance is decreased.
For center position of the intake valve, stagnation point is occurred in vicinity between cylinder head and cylinder
wall corner, it lead increased residual gas. As the opening and closing time of the exhaust port delay, the scavenging
velocity is decreased.
