초록 | In general, it has been mentioned that the performance of diesel engine is more excellent than gasoline engine's in terms of a fuel efficiency and durability so that it can be applied to a heavy duty commercial vehicle. However, the NOx and PM emitted from the diesel engine are remained to overcome and its regulation is reinforced recently. While a current diesel engine is able to satisfy the EURO-4 regulation through SCR only, it is not sufficient to meet EURO-5 regulation. This paper suggests the Urea-SCR system configuration to meet EURO-5. From the results, In the case of the DOC+SCR system configuration, although the EURO-5 can not be met with only map based control system, advanced control algorithm with map base was enough to meet the regulation. But high concentration of NH3 was measured in tailpipe. With same configuration system of DOC+SCR, the sensor based closed loop control system was necessary to meet the regulation with low ammonia slip. Finally, a temperature and exhaust emission trend were evaluated on ESC and ETC mode with DPF and SCR combination system, After test, the result was that the DOC+SCR+DPF system was more efficiency than DOC+DPF+SCR |
