    ABSTRACT Seven-hole probes are widely used to measure velocity vectors in three-dimensional flow fields because of their ease of handling. An additional advantage of a seven-hole probe is its ability to make acceptable measurements even at large flow angles. Basic wind tunnel tests were conducted to measure a wing-tip vortex using a seven-hole probe. This paper describes a method of measuring velocity vectors with a seven-hole probe and the results of wind tunnel tests
