The clean energy laboratory has been actively involved in research at the energt division at Pusan National University since 2004. This laboratory has published over 5~6 papers per year, conttibuting to advances in combustion control, coal utilization technologies, compressor, and so on. 

Teaching and research activities are supervised byprofessor Gyung-Min Choi, assisted by senior research scientist Dr. Jang-Sik Yang. Typically 8 or more graduate students are actively working on research projects.
