As you know well, a recent industrial demand for the higher quality products is strongly pressing mechanical engineers to develop the new manufacturing processes applicable.
In order to meet this demand, AMIT laboratory members, which belong to the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Pukyong National University, have a great passion and are trying to find novel manufacturing technologies. AMIT laboratory consists of a professor and several candidates for the Master's degree and for the Ph.D's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Now, we are conducting various research projects for design and precision machining processes especially focused on nano-turning, magnetic abrasive polishing, hybrid electro discharge micro-machining, pre-polymerization for bio-materials, composite materials, optimization based upon neural network & genetic algorithm and reliability assessment.
