ABSTRACT	The elastic buckling loads are presented graphically in terms of the overall dimensions of the panel and its flexural and transverse through-the-thickness shear stiffnesses. The data are applicable to sandwich panels with cores having a shear stiffness through their thickness which is very much higher along the corrugations than across them. The panel length to width ratios covered are from 0.3 to 4.5 (approximately). See ESDU 68029 for the background to the theory and for calculations of sandwich panel stiffnesses.
