ABSTRACT	ESDU 85035 provides a Fortran program listing, ESDUpac A1051, that computes the bolt loads, joint extension, and joint flexibility of a multi-bolt, single row, single lap joint under in-plane tension. The analysis may be applied to double lap joints and multiple row joints provided the rows are identical. The program uses the flexibility of the individual bolts provided by ESDU 85034. The details of the idealisation adopted are given, and a worked example illustrates the input and output formats used. The joint stiffness value will be particularly useful to represent such a joint when using finite element analysis to determine the gross load distribution through a structure.
