ABSTRACT |
Template matching method was investigated and evaluated by experiments. Three hundred optical flows were calculated at video rates with motion estimation processors and the randomly fluctuating optical flows were excluded as unreliable ones on the assumption that optical flows vary smoothly with time due to mass. The algorithm used bit data handling and succeeded in the segmentation and tracking of a miniature model on a uniform background.
