    ABSTRACT In this report we present one phase of a study on error analysis of space trajectories,that is to say,how to build an error analysis program based on the modern estimation theory.The proposed method plays an essential role in the post-flight evaluations of the GN&C system of a space vehicle,and is applicable as well to the mission planning phase.The simulation program thus constructed has the following capabilities:(1) generating any guided trajectories, noisy radar tracking data and IMU outputs(by DATA GENERATOR),and (2)conducting sensitivity analysis and guidance error recovery with regard to almost all guidance parameters in the “consider” option as well as in the “solve-for” option(by TRAJECTORY RE-CONSTRUCTOR).In the appendices,the basic subroutines and some of the application programs for space guidance are presented with the lists for user′s information
