ABSTRACT | The maximum-likelihood algorithm and the Kalman filter & smoother algorithms were applied to real flight data from a CH47 helicopter (two flights) to estimate motion (attitude, position and velocity) and sensor parameters (gains and biases of the rate gyros and accelerometers) of the craft.
