    ABSTRACT A preliminary flight test was conducted of the research airplane Dornier Do228-200 that is being modified for use as an in-flight simulator by the National Aerospace Laboratory. The basic performance of the airplane was evaluated by the flight test. Glide path angles were examined with various parameters, such as velocity, altitude, and power. The flight test results were compared with those of a mathematical model based on the Dornier GmbH wind-tunnel test data.
