ABSTRACT	Using the commercial software, LABTECH NOTE BOOK and Lotus 1-2-3, the authors developed an automatic fatigue-data acquisition system .This system collects data on fatigue load, actuator position, and strain of a specimen at user-defined intervals and stores them in a personal computer. This system displays this information graphically on a CRT on a real-time basis during a fatigue test
