ABSTRACT |
The Dynamic Displacement Measurement System is used for measuring vibrational characteristics. This system can automatically measure vibrational characteristics by synchronizations of shake, measurements and movement of a laser sensor using a robot with 6 axes. Numerous models for wind tunnel experiments and full scale airplanes were measured. However, an automatic sequence is only followed for a sequence of teaching points which are programmed into the robot. Moreover, subroutines for the synchronization needed to be inserted manually into a robot program. Control function of the system was improved to solve these problems. The improved system can measure any teaching points and the robot teaching procedure is simplified because the robot program can be edited on a computer. As a result, the vibrational characteristics will be measured more effectively by this system. |
